Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated
Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA) 10-1, then went on to lose 7-3 against Crystal Webster (Grande Prairie, AB). Jones responded with a 6-5 win over Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB). Jones won 9-2 against Colleen Madonia (Mississauga, ON), then won 10-3 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK). Jones went on to lose 9-4 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Jones responded with a 6-3 win over Jody Maskiewich (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Wayden Transportation Ladies Classic Championship title, Jones earned 36.000 world rankings points along with the $16,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Jones did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jones ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
