Crystal Webster (Grande Prairie, AB) finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Webster defeated Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) 7-2, then won 6-3 against Donna Butler (Charlottetown, PEI). Webster went on to lose 6-5 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Webster responded with a 5-4 win over Patti Lank (Niagara Falls, NY). Webster went on to lose 8-5 against Heather Rankin (Calgary, AB). Webster responded with a 7-3 win over Carrie Delahunt (Toronto, ON). Webster won 6-5 against Butler in their final qualifying round match.

Webster earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sobeys Slam. For week of the event schedule, Webster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Webster ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
