France's Thomas Dufour 10-2, then won 8-5 against Scotland's Warwick Smith and 7-5 against Korea's Jae Ho Lee. Kapp went on to lose 7-6 against Australia's Hugh Millikin. Kapp responded with a 7-6 win over Finland's Markku Uusipaavalniemi. Kapp went on to lose 7-5 against Sweden's Peja Lindholm. Kapp responded with a 7-4 win over Switzerland's Ralph Stöckli. Kapp went on to lose 7-6 against United States's Todd Birr. Kapp lost 9-3 to Canada's Glenn Howard where Kapp responded with a 7-5 win over Norway's Thomas Ulsrud. Kapp went on to lose 7-5 against Denmark's Johnny Frederiksen in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Kapp did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kapp ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
