In their opening game, Berezowsky lost 10-7 to Tracy Streifel (Saskatoon, ), droppimg another game, 12-3 to Colleen Voinorosky (Battleford, SK) where Berezowsky responded with a 8-2 win over Karen Fell (Unity, SK). Berezowsky went on to lose 12-2 against Saskatchewan's Pat Kuspira in their final qualifying round match.
