Starting with hammer, Robertson scored 1 in the first end, Einarson responded in the second end with a score of 2. Robertson and Einarson traded threes in the 3rd and 4th ends to see Einarson hold a 5-4 lead at the break. Einarson then added a steal in the fifth end, forced Robertson to a single in the sixth end and then scored 3 in the seventh end for handshakes and the 9-5 win. In the semifinals, Einarson defeated Rhonda Varnes (Winnipeg, MB) 6-4 in an extra end while Robertson defeated Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) 7-2. Birchard and Varnes earned $890CDN and 16.188 ranking points for their third place finishes. In the lone quarterfinals match, Birchard defeated Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB) 7-4. Englot earned $640CDN along with 11.427 ranking points for their quarterfinal finishes. Einarson went 3-1 in the 10 team round-robin pools qualifying round.
