Spencer with Katie Spencer at third, Holly Spencer and Allyson Spencer on the front end take home the $2,200CDN first place cheque along with 23.751 world ranking points, while Watling receives $1,600CDN and 17.417 world ranking points for their second place finish. Starting with hammer, Spencer scored 1 in the first end. After 2 blank ends, Spencer stole 2 in the fourth end, added another steal of 2 in the fifth end. Spencer forced Watling to a single in the sixth end, holding on for the 5-1 win. In the semifinals, Spencer defeated Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 7-5 and Watling defeated Alyssa Calvert (Brandon, Manitoba) 7-1. Calvert and Peterson earned $1,200CDN and 13.459 ranking points for their semifinal finishes. In the quarterfinals, Spencer defeated Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 10-8 in an extra end, Watling defeated Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 8-2, while Calvert defeated Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, Japan) 6-5 in an extra end and Peterson defeated Laura Burtnyk (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 6-5 in an extra end.
