Einarson and Sweeting Join Forces


Manitoba's Kerri Einarson will join forces with Val Sweeting for the next Olympic cycle, announcing their lineup on Facebook today.

The curling offseason has began early for the women's teams on tour start shuffling following the Scotties Tournament of Hearts with eyes on the 2022 Olympic in Beijing, China.

After splitting from her previous team, Kerri Einarson has imported Val Sweeting in from Alberta to play third for her, with Shannon Birchard fresh off winning the Scotties with Jennifer Jones playing second and Briane Meilleur set to play lead.

This will be a formiable lineup for this four and a team who should challenge Jones and Rachel Homan for top ranking on the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS).
