| In Own Words: Married to Nancy Smith, one son (Riley). Started Curling after seeing Kerry Burtnyk win the 1981 Brier. Six years later, Burtnyk coached our back to back Manitoba Junior Curling Championships. At the same time as being Manitoba Junior Curling Champions, a teammate (Myles Riddell) and myself were on the Manitoba Junior Men's Baseball Championship team that won Western Canada. Moved back to Winnipeg late Summer 2007 after spending 10 years in Calgary. Started junior curling as a lead, but have played most of my men's curling career as a third (sprinkle in a few years as a skip). Some notable skips I have had the pleasure to play for include Dave Smith, Barry Fry, Mickey Pendergast and a really short time with Mike Harris.
