Not An Auspicious Start

Two recent changes took place in the USA which could possibly improve their curling results in 2019/2020.

First of all, it was announced in May that Christensen and Persinger will be joining Sinclair's team. Secondly, Fenson was dumped as Sinclair's coach and replaced by Cathy "O".

Anybody who followed the top US women's teams last year will not want to be reminded just how bad the overall results were: Roth finished 18th in the rankings, Sinclair plummeted all the way to 37th while Christensen ended up a dismal 39th.

Sinclair's new team kick-started this season at the Oakville Fall Classic and it was not exactly an impressive debut. Their next event, the Shorty Jenkins Classic, a "Mini-Slam", is definitely going to present a far more difficult challenge.
