Although my appearances on this site are as rare as a Liberal in Lower Redneck Flats Saskatchewan or a Conservative who leaves home with his brains, I have enough seniority on this page to scream my frustration.
Which is..
That dammed moving electronic ad screen along the sides needs to be shoved up someones a......

Without whining too much I find it really annoying when watching a game, to the point where I am running for my third beer to kill the pain.
I would think that curlers playing on that sheet would find it distracting as well. (Those who have curled in an arena with this unit, please set me straight.)

I understand the game needs to sell ad revenue but could this, my words, adbombination, (on purpose, dammit), please be relocated or run over by a series of D-9's.

I am a couple of hours away from Moose Jaw, nestled in the lower part of Redneck Flats. Moose Jaw is one of my favorite cities in this province, but, alas, finances prevent me from making an appearance.
There are a few of the old CZ timers who may be making an appearance who I would love to meet. I also would like to corner Vic Rauther at the bar and ply him with beers until he falls over. (German I think? He probably has a hollow leg, and I think would be a hoot in the bierhaus.)
If you are new to Moose Jaw, and have the time, take the tunnels tour, both of them. Also the WDM is interesting if you are a near settlement history buff, or if you just like old cool stuff.
Also the mineral spa, with a real steam room, is wonderful. The attached small casino is fun, but one of the many reasons that I am staying home in Redneck flats, squeezing my proverbial last nickel. (At least I am not losing it to a machine.)

Whatever you do, please have fun in one of the most wonderful cities in this country.
And steal the fuse from that GD sign.

Put on some jazz. Watch the line scores and read the comments. Twitter gives us some good updates too.. #scotties2020 - MooseJaw should be a good venue, fans wise. SK won their opener. So many MB teams, not sure who I'm rooting for. I like Einarson though. Think I'll cheer for the vets to make the final.
