pretty sure we all saw this coming. at least they had the grace to cancel it now and not wait until the last minute and have all the teams there already like they did the 2020 worlds in canada

question now is will the mens worlds be allowed to go on. i mean..i dont see how you can hold the mens if the womens is cancelled

It was the local public health authority who cancelled it. I say run it in Calgary after the slams. Most of the teams will be here anyway.

I dont know that thats possible. the bubble has already been set up . i doubt organizers would be allowed to tack on another week onto that. if its going to be played it will likely be in the fall or winter later this year. but then you have to be really careful not to clash with europeans in november so maybe some time in september or october. we'll see

lets not forget we still dont have a venue for the mixed doubles worlds either..or a date
