...and the good news keeps pouring in. Tabs Peterson and Joe Cool Polo start off 3 and 0 at World Mixed Doubles Almost Curling.

Big game against the also-undefeated Swedes today. I like our chances for making the playoffs...again.

Japan gassed a hammer in the eighth to give them the win and Estonia gave them a steal of 2 in the 6th the same way.

They need to get themselves in better position, those gifts won't continue as they hit the tougher teams.

Still a great start, GO USA!

Well, things were going just great. Then Biterbar, like some spoiled New York Yankee or Green Bay Packer fan, points out that they weren't winning big enough.

Now we sit at 4/3 and needing a good finish. We have Norway at 6/1 next and then finish with the Finns at 2/5.

No negative thoughts coming from North Dakota. Go Tabs! Go Cool! Run the table!

Sure, it's only Mixed Doubles Almost Curling; but securing Olympic berths in all three events would be awesome.

I call them as I see them. Being all "Rah Rah" is great but reality will eventually take over. The reality is it's tough competition and our preparation for this event was not what it needed to be, no fault of the players.

I am the Green Bay Packer Fan with the spoiled QB. Haven't liked the Yankees since Mantle retired.
