CBC Streaming Part2

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate this time, CBC will be streaming 2 events this week:
First the World Curling Tour: Men's Masters Champéry, starting at 07:00 Thurs the 17th, and also the Canad Inns Women's Curling Classic - Portage la Prairie starting 11:00 also Thurs, all time are EDT.

Was so disappointed for curlers in Portage this weekend

The curling started out great and then boom power was gone. So sorry that you had to deal with all that. Portage is always such a homey place. Looking forward to watching this weekend.

CBC Streaming Part2

CBC is not too reliable when it comes to streaming I see, they have amended their broacast schedule to start Saturday vice today:

I can see why now, the Bonspiel does not start until this afternoon at noon Eastern time.
Someone at CBC can't figure out the European time zones.

Thousands are still without power in MB. This weeks event should have been canceled too.
Send your money to support those still living in hotels/shelters.

I guess they figured that since the electricity was back on and the ice wasn't a melted mess anymore, that it was going to be okay to give it a go-ahead. It'll give something for the locals to watch and take their mind off of the recent storm, etc. Also the curlers coming over will be giving money to those hotels.
