That is such good news. I'm excited for the Einarson Rink. I hope for them that the wait was worth it. Good luck to all the curlers and special wishes for the Einarson Team.

Much like the Canadian championships the worlds should evolve into a tight 3-way race for gold.

H.E.P.

Hasselborg - Einarson - Patz

or if you require legal formality then sub in T for Silvana Tirinzoni.

Hasselborg is a team of curling cyborgs. They consistently make more shots than their opponents. Very much a Euro version of Raychee Homan, only they play more of an overall team game.

Einarson is Einarson. The prairie powerhouse with the best front end in the game.

Tirinzoni/Patz is harder to quantify - I've never seen 2 players who seem as disinterested in the game as Silvana T & Alina Patz - - - but thats just a ruse, they're consistency sand-bagging opponents. When its time to shoots Silvana is a really good (not great) 3rd, while Patz is amongst the best last rock throwers in women's curling history (right there with Jones, Homan, Schmirler, Gustafson, Laliberte, Einarson)

i'd say the top 4 are sweden, canada, scotland and switzerland. dont overlook muirhead

the next group would be the japan, korea, russia and the united states as the group of teams that could upset that top 4

china is basically an unknown, could be good could be bottom of the table.

everyone else is fighting it out at the bottom
