This is highly unlikely, based on interviews, and her decision to not even enter the bubble for the Scotties.

I recommend listening to her sit down interview with John Cullen of Stone & Straw Podcast.

https://stoneandstraw.libsyn.com/s0...ista-mccarville

Summary: curling is not the most important thing in her life, she enjoys family and work (and was actually working here and there between games at the time of this interview). The only way she will increase her participation level in curling is if she wins the Scotties, because then other opportunities/obligations come with it (World, slams, Continental Cup, etc.). Scotties is the goal, Olympics/trials/slams is secondary, just bonus practice time on "slam ice" to prepare for the Scotties.

Start at 32m24s for the "serious curling" talk.

It certainly has been a moneymaking couple of months for curlers in Calgary.

In addition, on Saturday in the world of golf, Brooke Henderson responded quickly to ML's uncouth, defamatory recent remarks by winning the $225k LA Open. ( 281,000 CAD )
