How was your 22-23 Season?

Chillers are beginning to get switched off so let’s try something. How was your personal curling season in various categories? Use school grading, it’s easier. I’ve posted mine below, use the same categories. How was your season?

1) Club Play (B): lost the competitive league final in the fall, and playing really well in the spring (undefeated so far) so will make the playoffs in both leagues I play in. Generally playing well in league.

2) Bonspiel Play (C): I and my team played well in bonspiels this year but I wasn’t able to play in my normal number of bonspiels so that was a bit disappointing. Travelled all over the US (Colorado, Wisconsin, northeast) to play so that was fun. Made the cash in the cash spiel but lost in the first playoff round

3) Club and friends (A-): We had a ton of new curlers join our club last spring and fall so it’s been good to getting to know them all. Had good times broomstacking after games at the club including some late nights talking about the asinine topics that come up after a few beverages.

4) Teams you cheer for (C-): USA didn’t make the playoffs in either womens or men’s worlds. The good news is curling stadium made good strides in broadcasting all games of USA nationals so it was fun to watch my teams during that competition.

In difficult times like these, the first thing you need to do is relax your mind. roller baller is a space ball game worth your time to relax. I'm sure after that everything will be lighter.
