I was under the impression that this was a forum to express opinions. I in no way expressed that any knowledgeable woman is bad, I merely stated my opinion that I did not like JJ’s commentary . To assume otherwise is very unfair and wrong.

Then don't give people a reason to assume that. Give concrete examples of what makes her commentary bad.

Watching what seems to be tape delay of game Wrana and McCarville. Refreshing to hear commentary from Jones who played yesterday........ vs Joan who last played pre free guard zone over 20-25 years ago. Perspective and vision with a capital P. Doing that vs watched that. Hmm
Jones perspective is at least in the 2000’s.

Personally I like it when active players do commentary. Einarson & Sweeting did one for a stream when their partnership was still brand new. Moreover, they were commentating Tracy Fleury game, who of course had just taken over Einarson's old team. It was super enlightening, and also very lighthearted due to the their nature.
Chelsea Carey is probably my favorite commentator. She's also excellent as a podcast guest.

You guys are unreal.
A new poster posts that he doesn't like Jones' commentary, and two of you twist and manipulate it into whatever you want it to mean - and then blame the new poster for your wild assumptions!
What a nice welcome to the forum for that poster.
Absolutely unreal.
This is a large part of the reason that I don't come here often anymore - too much BS like this.
ML was definitely not the worst of the posters here.

Btw, around the rings coverage is awful. I mean, it's great if you want to see last rocks in every end of every game, it's fun. But can't watch wanted game, that's frustrating. They have sportsnet one, pacific, west, east etc. Why they don't put one game on each channel

I basically treat Around the Rings as closer to an event highlight show than an actual curling game broadcast. It's less infuriating that way.
I don't mind it so much if it's limited to quarterfinals and semifinals, and only at the slams.
If I want to watch plain regular curling game broadcast, there are plenty of other alternatives..

No, but thanks for contributing your own wild assumption.

I never like to assume but this must be in reference to the last game he ever has to play with Johnny mo ever.
I’m wondering if kevin hears the constant Johnny mo yammering in his sleep. Every shot, especially when it comes to Kevin’s, he has 3-4 alternate shots in HIS mind even after the skip sees the shot, calls the shot, puts the broom down and heads to the other end. And before Kevin hits the near hogline he’s babbling again and tapping rocks and waving brooms. Even after Kevin is starting his pre-shot routine he’s still yelling from the far end. The only time Johnny mo didn’t give unwanted input for the called shot, was when he used to skip. Hmmm.
I’ll quote my mother regarding Koe. “He must have the patience of a Saint”.
If I assumed incorrectly.... meh.
Go Gushue Go.

I thought I saw Koe skipping off happily after the game! Johnny Mo never stopped yakking today.
Brent had lots of input today too. Gushue tolerated it but made sure the team knew he was calling the game

Oh my God. Onto the finals. Steal of two in the last end to tie it, and then another steal of two for the win.

I was wondering if someone could help me with this. I would like to watch a replay of the Jacobs v. Flasch match from the afternoon (4 p.m.) draw on Thursday at the Players'. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I checked the sites for SN and GSOC and neither seem to have games archived for viewing later. Even YouTube only has the odd highlights but not full games like what you’re looking for. Maybe email sportsnet directly to see how you can watch previously broadcast games. If they reply post a link for the rest of us.

I can watch on the demand. Have a GSOC International package (YARE TV), so I login in, go to section tournaments, and find Players' Championship. There you have all coverages they have streamed.
