Throwing Hammers - A Curling Movie

Be A Part Of Curling History!

Help us share the spirit of curling with the world.

We’re making a movie about the great sport of curling. It’s called THROWING HAMMERS and it’s the first feature film about curling made by curlers! (Emmy Award winning curlers!) It’s a love letter to the sport we love, and we need your help to bring it to life.

We could use any financial support you can offer, but just as importantly, we want to demonstrate there’s a built in audience for a curling themed movie. That’s right, our goal is to get 100,000 responses so your support is critical.

Curling has given so much to us; we want to give back to the sport by showcasing the spirit of curling in a feature film. THROWING HAMMERS is a coming of age story about a disgraced junior national curling champion that returns home to figure out what he wants to do with his life and re-ignites his passion for the sport when his down and out friends talk him into starting a team and teaching them how to curl.

It’s a story celebrating the bonds of friendships and family, good sportsmanship and the craziness of bonspiels. In a world where young people struggle to find true friendship, THROWING HAMMERS, is an uplifting story about the transformative power of sport to bring us together.

Please help us out if you can and then share with fellow curlers and your social media circles to help us bring this film to the big screen.

THROWING HAMMERS
Live. Love. Throw Stones.

Hurry Hard and Good curling!

Even just a donation of $5 would help us show the curling community is behind this.
