Canad Inns Classics question

Has anyone here ever gone as a spectator to any of the Canad Inns Classics in Portage la Prairie?

I'm wondering what the seating arrangements are like and how difficult it is to get a good seat. The few photos I've found online make it look as if it's just an oversized curling club with some limited seating behind the glass, and that's all. If there's anything like a sizeable crowd at these events, it seems a good seat will not be easy to get.

If you're thinking of making a trip there to watch the event, it's definitely worth it. The event is hosted in a curling club, but they do add bleachers on the lower level to accommodate more people. The upstairs lounge area is open too, which also offers some very good sightlines.

Events held in curling clubs do seem to be more open and inviting as the curlers regularly mingle amongst the fans so getting to meet some of your favourite curlers is very possible too.

I have been thinking about it, as it's the only event on the calendar with the big names attending that's within driving range for me. It's still 8 hours away though, winter could be starting by then, and I might not be able to get the time off work anyway.

The Upstairs lounge is the best place to watch it. More comfy seats, good view, food and drinks. But you have to go early to get a seat.

Good thing I decided not to go now.
