The F bombs one thing, the **** ones another but the Holy ****** was too much. Time to not have him with mike on, fine him or something. I hope Botcher will put a stop to it.

If Martin and Koe couldn’t put a stop to it for the last 16 years, Bottcher doesn’t stand a chance.
I’m ok with the odd curse when you miss “your” shot but not ok if it’s your team mates that miss and your cursing. They feel bad enough for missing and don’t need you piling on.

Bottcher could use a swear jar contract. Every time he doesn't swear in a game, he gets to see a little bit more of the team's finances.

I'm honestly fine with the swearing. Curlers get critiqued when they show too little emotion and get critiqued when they show too much.

Forget the swearing, wait until curlers learn there is sponsor money to be made off those mikes. Ever head a nascar driver? "Oh the Pepsi Ford was running great and the Dewalt pit crew was great etc etc etc.
The curlers need to drop in how great that pregame Subway was or how they can sweep better thanks to Starbucks espresso or how they are investing the winnings in Questtrade, the possibilities are endless lol.

I was quite sweary in the fifty years I played Scottish finals. At the 9am draw in the Senior’s a few years ago, I was warned for swearing. There were no spectators. The ice hall had only men over fifty in it. We were playing Hammy Macmillan, whose vocabulary would certainly not comply with modern censorship. He immediately came over and made a fuss, ‘I’ve been ******* swearing the whole game!’ He was disappointed that he had not received this latest accolade.

BUT

For several seasons from when she was 15, Rebecca Morrison played in my super league team, with another chum of forty years standing. He is as potty-mouthed as I am. We didn’t swear.
