What do you mind by mind-boggling searching? What trouble were you having?

I would advise that I've watched several games games Canada has been involved in on https://worldcurling.org/events/wmdcc2021. As I mentioned this site did not have the actual winning score this a.m. so I did have to do some investigating. Also, I'm not a CLUELESS fan. That sounds so insulting. Lighten up a bit please?

That was the title of the article on Sports Illustrated/Curling News. I did not write the article.

Also, you, by your own admission, were clueless about WCTV. So the title is appropriate (even though again, I didn't write it).

Its pretty obvious Curling Clips hates people with opinions - CC criticizes everyone who can't prove thru gooogle, youtube, etc. that 2 + 2 = 4. All CC's posts are loaded with google/yt references but seldom an opinion shared.
I prefer opinions to re-statement of facts. Facts are stubborn things - but a site like this would be a damn site boring if all we did was re-state statistics but delete opinions.
Room for both without the incessant bickering - but at least CC isn't sick & profoundly disturbed by inhuman vermin like Guido, the poster with a bad case of rabies!

Not surprised Goo/Ein were squashed by Scotland yesterday. Mouat is now an everyday equal and occasional superior to the now 40 yr old Gushue.

And while Kerri Einarson still wallows in the shame of barely qualifying and getting quickly ejected from the worlds competition she can easily be defeated in 2 rock per end competition by lesser curlers like Jennifer Dodds (who apparently should be doing more than skipping at MD in Scotland)

I suspect Brad & Kerri will qualify (if they haven't already) for MD playoffs but find their fortunes quickly damaged in playoffs

Watching Czech vs Can match this morning. Einarson up to her usual tricks - blowing her own brains out, whiffing an open hit in 5th end, allowing Czechs to score 4 and take 5-4 lead. In 6 Einarson a few feet heavy on early draw.
Pretty obvious Einarson is still suffering shell shock and exhaustion from her long curling schedule. Now, its up to Gushue to take control and try to "Coco" the game by assuming Einarson's last rock is a miss or near-miss!
P.S. The funny thing is when Einarson missed her open hit in 5 she told Brad she thought she hit the stick like nobody's business (Kelly Scott theory) but Brad simply shrugged and said she didn't. Kerri obviously still in a haze believing she hit the stick but missed it by 6 inches to a foot.

Well Brad & Kerri eked out the win this morning, and with that have qualified themselves for the playoffs and Canada for the Olympics. Correct? Well done even if a bit wobbly.

Facts, hmmmm. They are actually correct statements. Opinions are ok. If there was some sensible thoughts to back them up.

LOL. You have to come up with more than vermin. That’s getting old.

Glad I'm fully ignored by the super-vermin & racists who like to target posters.

Back to curling - I thought Einarson & Goo would go 6-3 or 7-2 in round-robin service, so job well done!

Einarson is obviously frazzled and Gushue isn't used to teammates missing shots by vast amounts like Kerri has been known to.

So long as they don't run into their obvious superiors (Mouat & Dodds) in quarters or semis, I think Canada has a decent chance (50/50 or slightly better) to advance to finals.

If they happen to draw Mouat/Dodds in final - I don't think Canada has more than a 25% chance at gold - but 25% is a ton better than zero . . . !!!

GO CANADA GO . . . ! ! !

They meet Scotland in the semis! However, you never know in Mixed Doubles. Switzerland was looking pretty strong this morning until Einarson made that amazing triple. Brad seems to bring out the best in her.

Its true Brad has helped Kerri immensely - both with strategy, confidence and a ton of little things.

Thats why I advocated for him to be Einarson's coach at worlds instead of the lethargic Heather Nedohin - who now seems to be everywhere!

That was one clutch shot. and the end before against the powerplay was really well played as was their own PP. Great comeback, they should be playing free and easy vs Scots which makes them super dangerous.

Can somebody explain to me why Canada plays Scotland and not Sweden in the semis. I thought they were going to seed the teams after the qualification games, which would have been the top seed Sweden against the 4th seed Canada. Even if you don't do that shouldn't it be A1 vs B2 and A2 vs B1 in the semis? They ended up having A1 vs A2 and B1 vs B2. It seems to make no sense at all.

The only explanation I have for this is, WCF.
Never know what thoughts go through their mind.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they use DSC when comparing across pool, instead of using the Win-Loss record within their own pools.

So the reseeded ranks are

#1 B1 SWE 9W-0L 25.02
#2 A1 SCO 8W-1L 27.73

#3 A2 CAN 7W-2L 20.21
#4 B2 NOR 8W-1L 34.73

Thus, 1v4 is SWE vs NOR, and 2v3 is SCO vs CAN.

Good game all around. Scotland that much better than Canada.

Kerri fell asleep on a couple big shots while Brad snoozed on at least 1 bad one.

Mouat blew away Gushue while Dodd vs. Einarson wasn't very close, in Dodd's favor.

Gushue & Mouat now almost equals in curling performance (technique & strategy) with Mouat starting to pull away from the older man.

Obviously, Einarson is a world class skip but in MD I'd almost always rather have a steady eddy like Jennifer Dodds than an inferno like Einarson, Homan or JJ.

Einarson basically sealed her own fate by pulling the string early when she might have frozen to a Scottish stone in the 4 ft., instead coming up at least 15 feet short, allowing Dodds a free draw for 3. Dodds also made a brilliant shot the end before to nullify a near-certain deuce by Canada - turning into a force!
