If it's like the brier, they all did a pre-event quarantine at home before the event. Had proof of a negative test before they travel there. Immediate test off the plane, and then 3 straight days of tests.
Or something very similar to above.

Not bad for an international visitor...

Oh I have ESPN3 and ESPN+ and mix them up a lot.
It's not that ESPN doesn't carry Season of Champions coverage - they do, they're just legally obligated not to show events that other entities have paid for. In this case, NBC has paid for USA broadcast rights to the Worlds, so in the past TSN coverage of worlds is blacked out here. This includes Curling Canada region blocking their YouTube videos of worlds while the event is happening.
I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm quite sure NBC didn't buy the rights to this expecting ESPN to stream it. I mean one of the games NBC is televising is Canada-Sweden. There's no way they'd be on board with ESPN streaming it simultaneously to the United States.
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong. ESPN+/ESPN3 is much easier than getting a VPN to hide you like you're in Canada and using TSN or using the VPN to be in a place like Mexico where WorldCurling.org isn't region blocked on YouTube.
You’re not wrong. ESPN3 and ESPN+ will not have the world championships. NBC has exclusive broadcast rights in the USA.

Will they do their own commentary, or are they just going to broadcast whatever WCF produces?
I know in the past NBC did their own commentary, usually with Kevin Martin, but I'm not sure what they'll do this time.
Mike Harris says that Kevin Martin (among others) will work with him for WCF, not NBC.

I twittered Kevin Martin, who seemed to imply the US would be getting international feed and hopefully him.
In the past, NBC has used both him and Pete Fenson who is really good too.

Is there a way to watch replays of NBC's broadcast from previous years? I'll take anything: world championships, Olympics, etc.

For worlds we typically get NBC (or NBCSports or Olympic Channel) rebroadcasting the international feed

Not really. Best option is the international feed on worldcurlingtv

Someone sent me this clip where Kevin Martin talked about Jamie Sinclair injuring herself when she tripped over a rock at the 2019 World Women's Curling Championship
https://youtu.be/q12Jd2lK4l0
The logo does say Olympic Channel instead of NBC.
Maybe he was just doing short news bits instead of full commentary on games, I'm not sure. Either way, I just want to hear more of Kevin Martin talking about curling (as weird as that may sound).

Kind of. The IOC generates Olympic Channel programming, but NBC is in charge of the American feed of the Olympic Channel. That's why most "Olympic Channel" programming in the US is "Team USA" branded in some way. You're certainly not going to see Sidney Crosby's goal to win gold in Vancouver no matter how good the game was. You will however see the US-Sweden Pyeongchang gold medal curling game on there. Often. It's probably more similar to a franchise model tailored to the area. Think of it as the difference between a US McDonalds franchise and a Korean version.
Pure American coverage of Curling is pretty limited to the old Curling Night in America that Olympic Channel/NBC Sports used to do, and that was almost always Pete Fenson on color.
NBCSN is shutting down this year. They'll be shifting the big events (NHL, PGA Tour, etc...) to the USA Network. What that leaves for Curling is probably the Olympic Channel and maybe the Peacock streaming service?
