Team changes?

Are there any teams in your opinions/observations etc that you can see making changes?

Too early to predict before the provincials. Bad team vibes can always be overcome by winning your provincial.

As per their FB page, Team Cadorin is going their seperate ways.

"After a tough season and an even tougher decision the members of Team Cadorin will be going their separate ways heading into the 2020/2021 season. We wish each other the best of luck in all future curling endeavours.

We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the incredible support our sponsors. We can’t say it enough - THANK YOU! @cooperequipmentrentals @runbackcurling @goldlinecurling @dinobuffon @klosconcepts @stevedog_24

Lastly, huge thank you to Colin Sinclair - our Coach. Thank you all your knowledge, pep talks, truck rides and for always being in our corner as our biggest fan."

I noticed yesterday that Katlyn and Jen seemed to be at odds with one another. There was no laughing or talking and Jen seemed quite short with Kaitlyn a few times. Just wondering what might be cookin. Maybe nothing but it was very noticeable, to me anyway. I would guess that curling with Jenn is very demanding.

I noticed that too, thought may be it was the nerves of being in such a high stakes event.

Jenn vs. Kaitlyn

Nothing like the cold snippiness of JJ vs. Cathy O but its certainly moving in that direction.

Jen seems to be putting the blame for her downfall on her players but she's been calling some awful shots, poor strategy, poor line & weight calls to add to her misery.

You'll also notice Jones has this crazy tendency to indicate the worst possible shot/strategy after her opponent makes a great shot. I suspect Jen is either trying to play mind games with her opponent - or possibly checking to see if her team is still in the game, and thinking thru the situations!

But there's no question JJ isn't making the basic shots she used to make blind-folded. Her struggles with rock-clumping have gotten even worse, if that's even possible!

SHOULDA ... COULDA ... WOULDA ...

Shoulda Never considered joining Jones' team.

Coulda assembled her own team in 2010 including Cathy "O" as her Third.

Woulda achieved so much more in personal satisfaction; hasn't been a happy camper for many years. Time to move on.

I would and I wouldnt be surprised to see Kaitlyn leave jen at the end of the season

Remember the olympics are in 2 years, the trials are next year. If Kaitlyn formed her own team now shed have to have an e exceptional season next year just to make the pre-trials. That's a big risk.

It's likely she sticks with jen through the trials next season. Unless they win them and even if they do kaitlyn probably leaves after that.

If i curled 50% and most of the misses were my second shot id be less than chatty

Tough when you are missing big shots - 6 draws that were 10 ft light - worse when you have it in bag and you call a guard that is heavy and gives the other skip who couldnt hit a horse in the bum with a broom an easy out - that she missed the first time

Biggest choke til the 49ers sent the ladies out in the 2nd half

They should play that game in how to blow a lead courses

18 rocks in play with 2 up and hammer , followed by 20 in play with 1 up and hammer

Worst curled game in a long time

Shooting and stratedgy

Kaitlyn has her team all set...she’ll put up with Jones until the end of Curling season 21/22...then goodbye.

Its almost as if Kaitlyn, Dawn & Joss have the thought in the back of their mind that they continue to be frustrated & miffed by Jones. I'm not putting the Fleury/Jones game as a toss-up 50/50 affair. More like 80/20 in favor of Fleury. The key question is whether Kaitlyn & co. want to go thru 10 games full of exercises in frustration, yelling, apologies, etc?

Kaitlyn, Joss, Dawn may be contractually bound to Jones - that's the problem. So even if they wanted to play elsewhere (Lawes, Joss) they couldn't. Jones would never be able to find comparable curlers who'd be willing to put up with her off-putting style.

If they could I suspect Kaitlyn might try to bolt with Peterman and form a team in Alberta, BC or Northern Ontario, even Manitoba. Unfortunately, Jones decline seems to have infected Kaitlyn to the point where she's no longer an elite 3rd.

Always fun to speculate. I agree with earlier poster that probably no major team changes until after the Olympic cycle. Curious what the buy out clause would be if someone quits one of the top teams

international teams are harder to predict, they tend to stay together longer

i dont know that any of the top teams will make changes but i could see some of the other teams

pfister i think will want to change things. his new team has not done well at all

maybe we'll see feltscher and or schori make changes as well

could maybe see the young german muskatewitz rink change. depending on whether or not totzek wants to skip his own team or continue to play 3rd

maybe wrana makes changes for sweden ?

have to wonder, again if scotland will scre with the lineups on the teams. they're notorious for doing it in the past and with the olympics close it could happen

Would not surprise me at all if Jennifer Jones (already residing in Southern Ontario) decided to team up with Andrea Crawford, round up a couple Maritime spares and take the auto-berth out of New Brunswick for a few years.

Basically the Russ Howard model of extending curling dominance.

This premise assumes Kaitlyn and the other Jones' performers decide to part ways with the legendary St. Vital Hammer Lady.

PS. Didn't Russ Howard team with James Grattan when he realized he could no longer do damage in Ontario?

What a tool. Why in the blue blazes would Jones ever give up huge sponsorship and great players to make a change half way through the Olympic cycle?

You should read what you say before you hit enter. I'll quote the all time favourite bugs bunny....what an idiot....what a maroon.

Do you even listen to yourself before you post? Back to the basement.

just go to TSN and watch her interview, save you a lot of typing and making assumptions.
