Tirinzoni is actually quite revolutionary beyond just this lineup arrangement. At 2022 World, there were partial games where Tirinzoni sits out and Pätz skips at fourth, or Pätz sits out and Tirinzoni skips at fourth. I don't think they played a single end with both Pätz and Tirinzoni sitting out, but they've started games deliberately with Tirinzoni sitting on the bench, rotating as a five-person team.
