David Nedohin's "Barefoot" Response
![]() For David Nedohin of Sherwood Park, Alberta, competing for Canada on the World stage was first done on the open water as a barefoot water skier, and not as the dominant curler and 3-time World Champion he would go on to become.
Nedohin captured several titles in disciplines ranging from slalom to tricks and jumps in the men's open division during the 1990s, going on to compete for several years with Team Canada in International competition. Like many sporting events, the 2020 IWWF World Barefoot Waterski Championships scheduled for Sydney, Australia were cancelled due to COVID-19. |
