By Connor Simms, Rachel Homan, with Tracy Fleury at third, Emma Miskew, and Sarah Wilkes on the front end, continue their winning streak at 24 games. The WFG Masters defending champs will look to grab the title once again. Homan and Miskew have won a record 17 titles as teammates. They took on Korea's Seungyoun Ha in their opening game of the WFG Masters, losing the opening draw to the button for the hammer. Homan was able to force Ha to their single early. Homan capitalized on a mistake in the second end, getting three points. Unable to find offence early, Ha was forced to her single. Homan responded in the fourth end with their deuce. Ha once again was forced to her single in the fifth. Homan responded in the sixth, grabbing a single of her own. It was a perfect defensive game for Homan, forcing Ha again to her single and ultimately grabbing one more in the eighth end for a 7-4 victory. Homan has an impressive 41-2 record for the 2024-2025 season. In their next game, Homan will face Manitoba's Kaitlyn Lawes on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). They will continue their round-robin with games against Manitoba's Kerri Einarson at 11:30 a.m. ET on Thursday and Sweden's Isabella Wrana at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday.
