Jolianne Fortin (Jonquiere, QC) needed tiebreakers to advance to the playoffs, Fortin finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fortin defeated Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB) 4-3, then won 7-6 against Dayna Wahl (Altona, MB) and 9-8 against Ella Lenentine (Cornwall, PEI). Fortin went on to lose 5-4 against Anne Sophie Gionest (Alma, QC). Fortin responded with a 7-3 win over Cailey Locke (St John's, NL). Fortin went on to lose 6-5 against Mia Toner (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
