Barker finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Mandy Selzer (Regina, SK) 7-1, then won 10-5 against Jana Tisdale (Regina, SK). Barker went on to lose 7-3 against Chloe Semeniuk (Saskatoon, SK). Barker responded with a 6-3 win over Jolene Campbell (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
