To advance to the championship game, Kjaerland/Braenden won 8-6 over Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) in the semifinals of the Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland; and won 6-5 over Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL) in the quarterfinals. of the Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland;
Kjaerland/Braenden finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. .
