To advance to the championship game, Kjaerland/Braenden won 8-6 over Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) in the semifinals of the Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland; and won 6-5 over Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL) in the quarterfinals. of the Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland;

Kjaerland/Braenden finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kjaerland/Braenden defeated Czechia's Martina Horakova/Filip Adamek 8-2, then won 7-1 against Hungary's Dorottya Udvardi-Palancsa/Lorinc Tatar and 8-2 against Walczak/Augustyniak.
