Cameron Bryce (Kinross , SCO) won 7-2 over Jan Iseli (Solothurn, SUI) in the Final of the Match Town Trophy, held October 2 - 5 in Jonkoping, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Bryce won 8-3 over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the Match Town Trophy in Jonkoping, Sweden; and won 8-4 over Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals.
Bryce finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryce defeated Vilmer Nygren (Harnosand, SWE) 7-5, then won 8-1 against Sweden's Mats Wrana and 8-5 against Westerberg. Bryce won 8-1 against Andrin Schnider (Limmattal, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Match Town Trophy Championship title, Bryce earned 17.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 28th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.875 after improving upon their best so far this season. Bryce ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.350 points earned so far this season.
