To advance to the championship game, Kim/Jeong won 7-0 over Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in the semifinals
 
Kim/Jeong finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim/Jeong defeated Skaslien/Nedregotten 7-5, then went on to lose 7-6 against Lotta Immonen/Markus Sipila (Espoo, FIN). Kim/Jeong responded with a 8-3 win over Marteen Jones/Tyler Jones (Peterborough, ON). Kim/Jeong won 7-4 against Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL), then won 8-2 against Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Lindsay, Kim/Jeong take home 31.350 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. For week 17 of the event schedule, Kim/Jeong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 18th place on the World Ranking Standings with 79.500 total points.
