To advance to the championship game, Skaslien/Nedregotten won 7-2 over Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN) in the semifinals of the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Lindsay in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada;
Skaslien/Nedregotten finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien/Nedregotten lost 7-5 to Kim/Jeong, then responded with a 8-1 win over Marteen Jones/Tyler Jones (Peterborough, ON).
