Kang won 7-1 against Tirinzoni, then won 8-2 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 6-4 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
