Hayward went on to lose 8-5 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Hayward lost 9-2 to Jolianne Fortin (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hayward earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 155th place overall with 6.376 total points. Hayward ranks 157th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.376 points earned so far this season.
