Shaela Hayward (Carman, MB) finished 3-5 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hayward lost 9-5 to Nova Scotia's Rebecca Regan, droppimg another game, 7-5 to Katrina Frlan (Carp, ON) where Hayward responded with a 13-4 win over Mia Toner (Sudbury, NO). Hayward won 12-6 against Sydney Carver (Montague, PEI). Hayward went on to lose 8-4 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC). Hayward responded with a 9-4 win over Sydney Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Hayward went on to lose 8-5 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Hayward lost 9-2 to Jolianne Fortin (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
