To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 7-4 over Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, CAN) in the semifinals of the 2025 BKT Tires World Men's Curling Championship in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; and won 8-7 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 BKT Tires World Men's Curling Championship in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan;
 
Mouat finished 8-4 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 12-2, then won 9-6 against Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi (Karuizawa, JPN) and 9-3 against Hyojun Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Mouat won 6-5 against Jacobs. Mouat went on to lose 8-2 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Mouat responded with a 9-7 win over Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA). Mouat went on to lose 11-7 against Schwaller. Mouat responded with a 8-4 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR). Mouat went on to lose 10-4 against Edin. Mouat responded with a 8-6 win over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, USA). Mouat won 6-1 against Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER). Mouat went on to lose 9-2 against Xiao Ming Xu (BEI JING, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the BKT Tires World Men's Curling Championship Championship title, Mouat earned 82.500 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 44 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 499.750 points earned so far this season.
