Homan won 9-6 against Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK), then won 7-4 against Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB) and 7-5 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC). Homan won 9-3 against Julia Weagle (Iqaluit, NU), then won 8-4 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 63.750 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 447.500 total points. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 447.500 points earned so far this season.
