Dilello finished 8-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dilello defeated Brandon Gillespie (Goose Bay, NL) 10-2, then went on to lose 8-4 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL). Dilello responded with a 9-4 win over Ken Peddigrew (St. John's, NL). Dilello won 10-4 against Randy Turpin (St. John's, NL), then won 9-3 against Cory Schuh (St. John's, NL) and 8-7 against Greg Smith (St. John's, NL). Dilello won 7-6 against Symonds, then won 7-1 against Schuh and 4-3 against Symonds in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard Championship title, Dilello earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 132nd place overall with 15.492 total points. Dilello ranks 148th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.250 points earned so far this season.
