Desjardins went on to lose 7-3 against Tremblay. Desjardins responded with a 8-6 win over Francois Roberge (Aurele-Racine, QC). Desjardins won 9-2 against Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC). Desjardins went on to lose 7-4 against Asselin. Desjardins responded with a 6-5 win over Pascal Girard (Chicoutimi, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Hardline Quebec Tankard, Desjardins take home 5.500 world rankings points, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 83rd place overall with 33.031 total points.
