Hebert finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hebert lost 4-3 to Norway's Lukas Hostmaelingen, then responded with a 6-2 win over Jan Iseli (Solothurn , SUI). Hebert won 10-4 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE), then won 7-5 against Tianyu Meng (Harbin, CHN) and 6-5 against Giacomo Colli (Trentino, ITA). Hebert won 7-4 against Bryden, then won 6-4 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) and 7-4 against Great Britain's Arran Thomson. Hebert won 6-3 against JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the FISU World University Games, Hebert take home 8.250 world rankings points. Hebert move up 11 spots after posting a net gain of 7.5 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 81st overall with 36.085 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
