To advance to the championship game, Richards won 7-4 over Emma Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) in the semifinals
 
Richards finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richards defeated Abby Desormeau (Leduc, AB) 8-1, then won 7-4 against Cassidy Blair (Calgary, AB) and 6-5 against Keelie Duncan (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
