Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) won 6-4 over Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Swiss Cup Basel, held November 1 - 3 in Basel, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Klima won 6-5 over Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in the semifinals of the Swiss Cup Basel in Basel, Switzerland; and won 6-4 over Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the Swiss Cup Basel in Basel, Switzerland;

Klima finished 4-2 in the 23-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Klima lost 8-6 to Jan Iseli (Solothurn , SUI), then responded with a 5-4 win over Norway's Lukas Hostmaelingen. Klima won 4-1 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Klima went on to lose 9-3 against Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO). Klima responded with a 7-2 win over Iseli. Klima won 8-0 against Yves Stocker (Oberwallis, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swiss Cup Basel Championship title, Klima earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $16,087CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, Klima did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Klima ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
