Vanessa McConnell (Calgary, AB) qualified for the Ladies Alberta Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). of the Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;

McConnell finished 4-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McConnell defeated Chloe Johnston (Saskatoon, SK) 8-3, then won 11-2 against Hana Synackova (Prague, CZE) and 6-5 against Kaylee McNamee (Calgary, AB). McConnell went on to lose 7-4 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). McConnell lost 7-3 to Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) where McConnell responded with a 7-6 win over Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

McConnell earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ladies Alberta Open. For week 15 of the event schedule, McConnell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McConnell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
