Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK) lost 9-4 to Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK) in the Final of the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series, held December 6 - 8, 2024 at the Swift Current Curling Club in Swift Current, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Laycock won 7-1 over Logan Ede (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 8-2 over Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.
 
Laycock finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Laycock defeated Shane Cornelson (Swift Current, SK) 12-4, then won 5-4 against Josh Bryden (Regina, SK) and 8-4 against Dylan Derksen (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series, Laycock take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 19 of the event schedule, Laycock did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Laycock ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
