Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Klima lost 9-6 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA). Klima lost 10-7 to Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) where Klima responded with a 10-7 win over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Klima won 12-5 against Rob Retchless (Preston , ENG). Klima went on to lose 8-6 against Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER). Klima lost 9-8 to Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Klima lost 10-2 to Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). Klima lost 5-3 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Klima earned 7.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Klima did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Klima ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
