Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) won 6-5 over Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) in the Final of the Saville Grand Prix, held November 1 - 3 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 7-2 over Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the Saville Grand Prix in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-5 over Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the Saville Grand Prix in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
Einarson finished 3-1 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB) 7-6, then won 7-1 against Kayla MacMillan (Victoria, BC). Einarson went on to lose 5-3 against Plett. Einarson responded with a 8-0 win over Lawes in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Saville Grand Prix Championship title, Einarson earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, Einarson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Einarson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
