Schwaller finished 4-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller lost 6-4 to Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON), then responded with a 7-6 win over Alex Champ (Toronto, ON). Schwaller won 6-0 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN), then won 7-5 against James Craik (Stirling, SCO) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 6-4 against Muskatewitz to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 7-3 win over Mooibroek to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Championship title, Schwaller earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, Schwaller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
