Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) lost 7-5 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Co-op Canadian Open, held November 5 - 10 in Nisku, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 5-4 over Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR) in the semifinals of the Co-op Canadian Open in Nisku, Alberta; and won 7-4 over Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in the quarterfinals. of the Co-op Canadian Open in Nisku, Alberta;
Tirinzoni finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI). Tirinzoni responded with a 6-4 win over Constantini. Tirinzoni went on to lose 7-4 against Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Co-op Canadian Open, Tirinzoni take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Tirinzoni did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tirinzoni ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
