Christina Black (Halifax, NS) qualified for the KIOTI National playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE).

Black finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black lost 11-3 to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB), droppimg another game, 6-3 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) where Black responded with a 6-3 win over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Black won 8-7 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
