Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN) won 6-5 over Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships, held October 27 - November 2 in Lacombe, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-5 over Rui Wang (Beijing, CHN) in the semifinals
Homan finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Cory Thiesse (Chaska, USA) 9-2, then won 13-0 against Ko Yang (Taipei City, TPE) and 7-5 against Wang. Homan won 9-2 against Chelsea Suddens (Naseby, NZL), then won 8-2 against Gim and 10-1 against Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX). Homan won 8-6 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Pan-Continental Championships Championship title, Homan earned 45.000 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
