Kotaro Noguchi (Sendai-shi, JPN) lost 8-6 to Kouhei Sato (Tohoku, JPN) in the Final of the Tohoku Curling Championships, held December 8 - 12, 2023 in Tohoku, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Noguchi won 11-6 over Chikara Segawa (Morioka, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Tohoku Curling Championships in Tohoku, Japan;

Noguchi finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Noguchi defeated Kazuhito Hunaki (Tohoku, JPN) 8-7, then won 10-4 against Kenji Kawamori (Tohoku, JPN) and 9-8 against Yasuhiro Sano (Tohoku, JPN). Noguchi went on to lose 5-4 against Yuun Ishimura (Aomori, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tohoku Curling Championships, Noguchi take home 2.750 world rankings points, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 145th place overall with 15.625 total points.
